About

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded in 1914 on the the principles of brotherhood, scholarship, and service. Since 1947, Alpha Nu Sigma chapter of Phi Beta Sigma has served Oakland, CA and the surrounding communities embodying these ideals in all of its activities and programs.
In the spirit of these values, Alpha Nu Sigma chapter in collaboration with Bay Area Sigma's, Inc. is sponsoring its annual Andrew McCarter Memorial Scholarship.

Scholarship details

$1,500 scholarship opportunity for high school male graduating seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university.

1. Describe how you have demonstrated leadership in or out of school.

3. Describe areas in your life where you have demonstrated perseverance and overcame obstacles either through your school life, social life, and/or family life.
